Skillet Noodles with Sausage and Vegetables
| Ingredients: |
| 16 ounces Dakota Growers Wide Egg Noodles |
| 16 ounces spicy Italian sausage links |
| 1 yellow bell pepper, cut into short, thin strips |
| 1/2 cup chopped green onions |
| 2 medium carrots, sliced into julienne strips |
| 1 can (14 1/2-ounces) chicken broth |
| 3 Roma tomatoes, chopped |
| 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil or 1/2 teaspoon dried basil |
| 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese |
| Directions Cook wide egg noodles according to package directions Cut sausage into 1-inch pieces. Cook sausage, peppers, onions and carrots over medium-high heat until sausage is brown; drain. Reduce heat to medium and stir in chicken broth, tomatoes and basil and simmer for 10 minutes. Toss vegetables with hot noodles and serve. Sprinkle with Parmesan. Servings 4 |
