Creamy Potato Soup
| 2 tablespoons butter or margarine |
| half cup chopped onion |
| 1 package (2 1/2 ounces) Piggly Wiggly Country Gravy |
| 4 cups milk |
| 2 cups (8 ounces) shredded Cheddar cheese |
| 4 potatoes, cooked, peeled, and cut in 1/2-inch cubes |
| Sour cream |
| Green onions, chopped |
| Bacon, fried crisp and crumbled |
| Melt butter or margarine in medium saucepan. Add onions and saute until tender. Add Piggly Wiggly Country Gravy and milk. Heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and hot. Stir in cheese and heat until melted. Stir in potatoes. Heat over low heat 5 minutes. Spoon into bowls and top with sour cream, green onions and bacon. Makes 4 to 6 servings. |
